My first-time-home-buying son and I recently completed a loan with Marlin and First Colony. We were pre-qualified with a "rocket quick" national site but our realtor essentially begged us to get a second quote. Marlin is a great guy and is on top of the his communication. He helped me understand what was going on during the entire process and helped me through the tricky parts. He was almost always availble for a quick call.
Garrett was really helpful and friendly through the whole process. He was competitive and really felt it was important for us to understand everything that was happening from the consumer stand point. Would do business with him again.
