I've lived in my current apartment that is under management by First Statewide Realty for almost a year now. The management has been good to me so far. The problems have been minimal and the couple times that I did call them, they were very responsive. 1) When the washer/dryer room had a water line break, they had someone out immediately/same day 2) When I reported a termite problem, they scheduled an inspector to show up as soon as possible. We rented a 5B room from them, they very conveniently omitted there was no washer dryer. Yes, I am aware you are not obligated to provide renters with same, but at the same time you are doing very bad job at being an agent if you omit such major piece of information, They were super unprofessional when we asked to reach out owner to find out if owner will consider the request of washer dryer they made no efforts and rendered unsolicited advice. Once they get you to sign the lease you are on your own! There was no final wa... read more

Just because we did not get an immediate reply from the owner does not mean that we did not try to accommodate the request. Just because you don't like our answers is why you left this negative review. We respond quickly but cannot authorize large purchase without the owners consent. We are sorry that you assumed the property would be supplied with a washer and dryer. Also, we do not co... read more

(We are temporarily relocating, and own rental properties in another state.) If the first few days of leasing through them is any indication, it's going to be a very long year. So far they haven't done what hey said they would do. Before we signed a lease they nearly bent over backwards. Now that our stuff has been delvered they're argumentative and evasive. Probably they figure we won't move now. Get everything done *before* you sign a lease. All those little things that need finished? Make sure they're done before you si... read more

In this particular case, there was a large miscommunication in regards to maintenance between the owner of the home and ourselves. We have very high expectations for our properties/rentals that we manage and when there is an owner who doesn't want to approve necessary maintenance items it makes our job very difficult and creates an unsatisfied tenant li... read more

I lived in a First Statewide Realty home for one year. During that year, the management was very good. The issues rose when we vacated the house. The management charged us a fee for "their" company to clean the house. The offered us to use our own company but if it wasn't up to their standards then they'd still charge us. We told them we'd only pay a certain amount, b/c they thought that's what the charge would be. When it ended up being more, they decided to charge us for other items they said were normal wear and tea... read more

We use third party vendors to get a place turned around once a tenant vacates. Cleaning, damages and rent are the tenants responsibility. We do allow tenants to use their own vendors for cleaning, we just inform them that if the cleaning is not satisfactory when they hand back the keys that we will send in a cleaner to make the cleaning satisfactory. We take every action possible to make sure that each security deposit we handle is refunded in fair and timely manner. Thank you for your feedback.
