I declined the toll pass ******* I was mostly driving local for the week I was in Tampa. I racked up a total of $6.00 in toll charges. They charged me an additinal $15.00 everytime I went thru a Toll Road (4 times) What a rip off Fox!!! The option was to buy a daily pass *** $20 a day or get charged $15 administrative fee for using a toll road. Thumbs down for this company!!!

Tried dropping off a rental car back to them when I had a flight out that morning on Saturday. Swung by and no one was there around 545 am. The office was closed but no one was there early to even take the car at all and I didn't want to miss my flight out for a 720 am. When the office finally opened I called when I was waiting for the plane and was thru security and tried to explain to the customer service representative on the phone about this and they didn't want to listen at all. I recently rented a car from Fox Rent Car that was supposed to be picked up on the Orlando Airport. My booking summary stated Pickup is the Orlando Airport, but when we went to the rental car counters we couldn't find the desk. There was a sign that stated you had to go to the bus lanes and get on a shuttle to pick up your car. This was not what we expected and felt deceived by the paperwork during booking. SCAMMERS. I never write reviews but this was the single worst business transaction of my life. I am not seeking a billing change, I am spreading awareness of a bad company with bad faith policies and procedures. I rented a car for six days at the airport in Austin, TX location in March 2022. Never in my life have I experienced such a hard upsell in the guise of "doing me a favor." Rented a car from here and said No to the prepaid fuel option. The lady checking us out decided to add it on even though we explained that we didn't want that at all

1.5 stars on Yelp and 2 stars on Google. Watch out! Charged me $150 for supplemental insurance after I clearly and specifically declined. It might've been on the rental agreement - but in their code so you couldn't understand it especially while being rushed to the next customer and explained at the counter as a standard deposit. You'll see this story repeatedly in the reviews - it's not 1 person not understanding, it's obviously intentional trickery. Horrible Service. I rented a car for 6 days in Denver on a ski trip. I drove over 100 miles to Breckinridge, Colorado. I used the car for 2.5 days. Early morning on the 3rd day the car would not start. Called Roadside assistance and waited in the cold and snowy weather for over an hour for a service person. They try and start the car but determine it is the starter and needs to be towed back to Denver. Phoenix airport location - Loss Damage Waiver scam. 3/10/22, agent Oscar. They trick you into paying for LDW. If you do not specifically state you do not want LDW, they add this to your bill. They know nobody will read through the fine print and once you sign, you have to pay. He is how the scam works. The agent will briefly go over each section you are signing/initialing for on this tiny screen where you cannot read anything. When you get to the LDW section, the agent will make up something else unrelated to the LDW section... read more

FOX Rent A Car is the worst ever to do business with DO NOT RENT from these people. I had a 3-day reservation for a car in Ft Lauderdale with drop off in Ft. Myers. I pre-paid as I was sure this trip would happen as planned. They gave me an estimated statement of the cost.
