Fox Rental Lied about the Gas fee!!! I signed and paid the "return your tank empty fee" $55.00 FEE. Then they charged me another $8.99 a gallon to fill the tank. It was really pushed on me to pay the "return the tank empty portion." I agreed and went to the gas station the night before and just put enough gas in it to get to the airport. I would have filled it but since I already paid for them to do so I had no reason to believe that they would charge me again. This is a company that has no service at all! Try to avoid it in future! It was a normal rental experience until I returned my car. I realized an hour later that I had left my camera bag at the back seat of car, but did not have time to go back due to my train schedule. I thought it should not be a big problem, but my experience proved that I was too naïve. Do NOT RENT from them!!! I had a rental reservation of $495 for a week. After I turned in my rental vehicle early and received my final bill by email, the final bill was $768!!! But KIDDING! There were extra charges, fees, and they even added on a extra day. I call Fox of course and when I was done talking to a manager they had removed some of the fees, but it still totalled $628. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE! First thing, the "Compact SUV that I requested months prior to my trip was not available when I checked in, so I was given a large SUV... sounds like it would be a good problem to have, except gas prices are high and there were only two of us traveling. Do NOT rent a car from Fox Rent a Car. We rented a car from them March 8, 2022 from their Phoenix Sky Harbor location. The car they attempted to give us was wrecked and dirty so we had to switch cars 3 times before we were given a suitable car. In the process my purse was left in one of the cars. Even though I knew exactly what car it was left in they refused to help me locate it, saying that they can't keep track of everyone who rents a car from them. I declined the toll pass ******* I was mostly driving local for the week I was in Tampa. I racked up a total of $6.00 in toll charges. They charged me an additinal $15.00 everytime I went thru a Toll Road (4 times) What a rip off Fox!!! The option was to buy a daily pass *** $20 a day or get charged $15 administrative fee for using a toll road. Thumbs down for this company!!!

The platepass ****** is available to all renters for $11.99 per day to avoid the need to pay for tolls. Tried dropping off a rental car back to them when I had a flight out that morning on Saturday. Swung by and no one was there around 545 am. The office was closed but no one was there early to even take the car at all and I didn't want to miss my flight out for a 720 am. I do show that the information provided on the call for return was incorrect and the location had a problem to retrieve the vehicle. I recently rented a car from Fox Rent Car that was supposed to be picked up on the Orlando Airport. My booking summary stated Pickup is the Orlando Airport, but when we went to the rental car counters we couldn't find the desk. There was a sign that stated you had to go to the bus lanes and get on a shuttle to pick up your car. This was not what we expected and felt deceived by the paperwork during booking. SCAMMERS. I never write reviews but this was the single worst business transaction of my life. I am not seeking a billing change, I am spreading awareness of a bad company with bad faith policies and procedures. I rented a car for six days at the airport in Austin, TX location in March 2022. Never in my life have I experienced such a hard upsell in the guise of "doing me a favor."
