Its not like we were renting for 1 day, we had the car for 4 days. How do you call to let them know your going to be late when on a plane? Rented a car for 4 days, they cancelled the reservation on us because we were late, (Flight). Then charged us double the price...then gave us a dirty car and when I say dirty, not the outside, food all over the seats, the smell was so bad we stopped at a store to get Lysol spray and Febreze, nothing was wiped down, you could see finger prints everywhere, also needed Lysol wipes (Covid), n... read more

PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING WITH PRICELINE OR FOX-RENT-A-CAR On Oct 22 - 25, I had a rental car from Fox-Rent-A-Car that I rented through Priceline. Upon getting into the vehicle late at night from the Phoenix Airport, I noticed a horrible smell. The smell was manageable as long as you cranked the AC. Paid an agreed-upon amount online. After I returned home from surgery, Fox Rental charged an additional $150 to my card for some sort of insurance upgrade that I did not consent to. I never buy stuff like that. Fox Rental refuses to answer their phone or email in the several times that I tried both. Stay away from these scammers. They look like a deal upfront, but that's because they scam you in the end. Go with a reputable company like Enterprise.

We had a reserved car at 456 dollars for two weeks and the employee disregarded that and added a lot of extras we did not want.The total was 1254 dollars instead of the reservation price of 456 dollars and the employee laughed. I was not laughing and filed a claim with Colorado's Attorney General for deceptive business practices...baiting and switching the customer. I was a Fox customer using them many times with no problem until now.

HORRIBLE. I rented a car this past weekend from the Orlando location. They asked if I wanted to upgrade to a Jeep Wrangler for $20 more. I said sure, it'd be more fun than the car I'd initially reserved. My original rental was supposed to cost me $110. So, $20 more wasn't a big deal. I get the keys to the wrangler and head out to the vehicle. It's disgustingly dirty inside. I go back in to the office and ask for another vehicle. They give me the keys to the wrangler next to my initial one. That one is also disgusting inside ... read more

This rental company refused to use my reservation at check in. I went on a high stress last minute trip for a loved one who almost lost their life. So I set up all of my reservations online to make things easier at check in. Instead of just using my reservation the clerk at the desk (after waiting an hour) upsold me on everything. I asked him to give me everything that I asked for in my reservation. However he added on several things to get every dollar from me. We recently rented a car from Fox Rent A Car. We picked up the car in the evening and the parking lot was dark. After driving for 2 hours we realized that the front passenger **** was bald. The car also had over 70,000 miles ( I took a picture of the tire). We tried calling their Las Vegas office twice and waited for about 1.5 hrs both times and then was disconnected. Fox car rental. Fox car rental would be doing a great public service by using the Covid pandemic as an excuse to go out of business. The reality is they are getting 1 star because 0 star is not an option. Lisa the local manager at the SeaTac site is a pathetic excuse for a manager. She is deceitful and incompetent. We returned our car to the Ontario airport location and when we reviewed the invoice - we were charged for a tank of gasoline even though we returned it completely full - in fact we filled up at the gas station across the street from the Ontario location. What is most upsetting is that I spoke to the employee who checked in our car about the mileage and small gas tank and how cheap it was to fill up when we returned the vehicle.
