First time visiting the restaurant and will not be our last. Fine dining in a relaxed warm environment. Food and service were exceptional.
Dinner was excellent, as always. Our waitress, Amy, was wonderful; attentive without being pesty. We thoroughly enjoyed our first meal there in many months. We always enjoy our meals at Friar Tuck's whether just the two of us or several of our sons and their families.
Great place to eat prices are fair for a nice friendly, easy, romantic dinner! There were items that couldn't be substituted like baked potato instead of fried potato halves and salad instead of vegis at $50/plate in Nevada County I would like to see some flexibility. And for God sake get some sweet and low. Overall good bones thank you for a wonderful meal!
Great steak, great service. Potatoes could have used more flavor, and vegies were a little overdone, but I will definitely go back again!

It was a very nice experience. Staff was friendly and the music was awesome. Food was fantastic and the cheese cake was to die for.
We had a great experience! The food was prompt and cooked perfectly. Our server was attentive and pleasant. This will be a “go-to” next time we’re in town.
