We have always enjoyed great meals at Friar Tucks. Our most recent dinner was no exception. Wonderful crab cakes, clam chowder, salad, onion bread, delicious halibut and outrageous Maui Pie. We are still full...you really need to give it a try if you are looking for something pretty special...enjoy!!!
Really delicious crab cakes and our entrees were above expectations. We also got two drinks from the cocktail menu that were awesome. Overall really lovely evening at Friar tucks!
Service was great and friendly. I haven't been to Friar Tucks for some time and now under new ownership. I was impressed as it still had the best of what made them great and great food.
Friar Tuck's is always a nice place to dine, a little pricey, but the food and service is wonderful.
Friar Tucks is my favorite restaurant. Our waitress Julie was very friendly and attentive. She offered suggestions and makes you feel like you’re part of the family there. The food is delicious and the ambiance is very calm and relaxing. I can’t wait to go back again.
Well…I would not order the Bubble an Squeak again. All of the meat was good but the cheese fondue got cool and very thick. All we got for the cheese was bread, apple slices, and mushroom pieces that we ended up putting in the oil. The price demands better. We went there probably 15 years ago and my memory of things was better then. In fairness, they had just opened up after Covid. Maybe that contributed.
Our waitress was Wonderful! Very personable and her willingness to make us delighted was outstanding! She even tried to tell us she messed up on something and we wouldn't hear of any negatives, and said to let it go, because we all just loved her.
Fish dishes were very good and fresh. Service was great.
Ordered the rack of lamb to share. We received two small lamb chops each swimming in a heavy dark gravy that over powered the lamb for $37. The lamb, vegetables and mashed potatoes were yummy, however two measly, small lamb chops does not a meal make for the price. The saving grace was the live music which was awesome!😊😊😊😊😊 In summary I really wanted to give this restaurant 5 stars but the portion to price was disappointing.
