We celebrated our 45 Anniversary and the Staff made it an evening to remember! We will be back.
I love the fact we can go and be social with friends or family in a beautiful local restaurant. You personally agree to waive “your risk” to (not likely) but possibly contracting COVID when you pass through the door with the sign posted on the door BEFORE you enter! The masked service personnel is reminder enough. Dinner and service was top notch and I am happy to support this local business! The pleasure by far outweighed the risk! Don’t stop living your life And enjoying your freedom to do so!
Great food and service
We had the BEST time at Friar Tuck's. The restaurant is beautiful, both inviting and elegant. The staff is fantastic. We had both Tylers and Lani serving us and they worked seamlessly as a team to make sure our food came out at the right time, in the right order, and our table was clean and water glasses always filled. Every time we come to Nevada City we dine at Friar Tucks because the food is always incredible, drinks are great and we LOVE live music and they are supporters of live music♥️ We ate here three of the three nights we were in town!
We have always enjoyed great meals at Friar Tucks. Our most recent dinner was no exception. Wonderful crab cakes, clam chowder, salad, onion bread, delicious halibut and outrageous Maui Pie. We are still full...you really need to give it a try if you are looking for something pretty special...enjoy!!!
Really delicious crab cakes and our entrees were above expectations. We also got two drinks from the cocktail menu that were awesome. Overall really lovely evening at Friar tucks!
Service was great and friendly. I haven't been to Friar Tucks for some time and now under new ownership. I was impressed as it still had the best of what made them great and great food.
