Friar Tucks is one of the most creative restaurants I have ever been to. The fondue is phenomenal, but everything on the menu is excellent.
Came for the fondue for our anniversary, came back the next day to try other things on the menu. Love this place

The food is ok, the service and ambiance was great.
Far and away the best choice in the Nevada City area. Great place - lots of leather booths and dark wood on a historic side street. Very cozy. Our steak and French onion soup were first rate and the waitstaff was very warm and attentive. It was a lovely experience from start to finish.
We enjoyed a delicious meal of fresh halibut in beautiful tree room at Friar Tucks. Friendly and attentive service. Will return soon!
Had a nice dinner. Server was OK and my Chicken Marsala was overcooked. Wife loved her poke tuna appetizer and burger.
In over 25 years of dinning at Friar Tucks we’ve never had a bad meal here and always enjoy ambience and listen to the live music.
I haven’t been to Friar Tucks in years and it was just as amazing as I remember. The food was awesome, the drinks were delicious and the wait staff were friendly and courteous.
