We were a party of 5. One of us ordered the duck, and it wasn't good at all. It was dry with no flavor, no marinade or sauce. Everything else (prime rib, pork ribs), was good. Tasty side dishes and good appetizer (baked brie).
Your staff & bartenders are great! And great Martini's! I hate those tiny but expensive ones at the newly renovated Holbrook & National.
My prime rib was very good, but my wife's salad was floating in dressing.
This is our second time visiting Friar Tucks and this will be our go to whenever we are in Nevada City. The service and food was top notch. Super easy to make reservations and very close to Off Broadstreet - a favorite playhouse of ours.
Birthday celebration. Fantastic. Food great, server, Amy, was amazing. Very efficient and professional and friendly.

Julie was excellent. Personable & just the appropriate amount of attention. I think her name was Julie anyway.
I had a reservation for just me and they stuck me in a cubby hole in between the bar and the restaurant where I was the only person and could only see people walking by my table. The service was so bad, I almost left before my glass of wine arrived. I stuck it out and ate mediocre crab cakes but one of the best Caesar Salads I have ever eaten.
We had an amazing dinner here! The food was great and the staff was super friendly and attentive!
