I made an appointment since there is an ope. Recall on the power steering gear . I had experienced the loss of power steering while driving so was in touch with Ford. My local mechanic had told me that there is a sound also coming from the gear when rotated left and right . Ford wanted the car to be inspected by the dealer, . So I had to go to the dealer. Typical high pressure game playing, no haggling over price
Short one hour service ran for 2 1/2 hours.
Oil change took 4hours. The lady who picks up the phone is very far from friendly.
Dissapointed this time around. Took my car in for replacement of battery cables that had been detected as being corroded when I had a new battery put in(this should have been detected two weeks prior to this when I had the car in for warranty issues). Shortly after this, again experienced battery/starting issues, only to find out from AAA that the new battery cables were not tightened properly which is why I was continuing to have starting issues. Not what I expected from Frontier Ford.
Service Dept Doesnt make any effort. Lazy and just marks off service even if not done.
Attempt to over sell on maintainence items. Turn-around time reasonable. Price is high releatively to other Ford service centers
It was expensive and I noticed issues in my car right after the service
