Clean. Modern. Friendly. We joined after leaving another club in the fall of '22 and have been nothing but pleased with our decision.

Carol is definitely a liar and wants to make it look like I did something wrong after 40 years of being a member at The Village with no issues. Carol had an issue with another client who was out of control, this client would adjust the thermometer in the hot yoga room which should never be allowed. The only thing I did was take a picture to show their office she was touching the heater. That is so dangerous and unacceptable but I got kicked out because I was calling this woman out. I'm back have always loved the club but the stifling heat to workout since they have decided to cut back on air conditioning and in the cardiac room half the machines televisions are not working is unforgivable for the price. All yoga and Pilates very few bike classes. If you want members to pay the same price then get the same service and quality back or be prepared for the consequences.

We didn't choose to cut back on air conditioning, unfortunately we had some issues with a few of our units during the extreme heat and that is now resolved. At the same time we had to reset all of our machines due to a technology issues. This is certainly not typical for us but it did happen as the same time. This location is ok, after going to the village at DC Ranch for a long time, this location will only ever be just ok. It's a nice try but it doesn't come close to the DC Ranch Village on any level, in any area, or any way. But I do appreciate the attempt to be similar. Watch out for the jacuzzi as the small jets feel like bullets hitting your back. Also the stools while getting ready are so tall ....be prepared to fall off, best to just stand while getting ready. I just became a member. I loved my welcome experience, the management team was exceptional and the gym is superb, I was also given a 100.00 certificate to use at the spa, my facial was awesome, When came to pay for my items, very negative interaction, won't ever go back , reported it to spa management and got worse, retrain staff for a better customer experience

My husband and I had a couples massage to celebrate a babymoon! -Very helpful and friendly staff! -Great locker room, comfortable robe! -They offer maternity massages, yay! -During the massage there was a high pitched beeping coming from the medispa laser next door and the off and on loud noise from the yoga studio on the other side. My home away from home. Spotlessly clean, constantly updated equipment, great management, friendly staff and class instructors who know their stuff and get to know you to keep you safe. Huge variety of classes and individual use equipment and a full service spa. Both the health club and the spa have huge longevity in their staff, which says a lot. I wouldn't work out anywhere else and I miss being there when I'm out of town - just not as much as I miss my puppy dog.

My initial review was dated summer 2012. This follow up review is dated December 2018. Short story, after ten years I terminated my membership and for good reason. Over the past year the service at the Village Gainy Ranch has steadily declined. In fact I had an incident with a new manager named Jack who was incredibly short sighted, impetuous and rude. I went to the spa at the end of September and feel very ripped off. A friend referred me to Lisa-my friend has not gone to her but knew her- I couldn't get into my friends original referral because she was so busy - getting into Lisa right away should have told me something .
