We initially started the process thinking it is very unlikely that we would get approved or even pre-approved because of the fact that my husband and I are both considered to be Self-Employed. If you are self-employed, you know the struggle to have a lender approve you for a home purchase. It was a little bit of paperwork process and requirements but it worked out okay at the end. Even though it was a pain to get all the documents they requested, they communicated quickly all the time

Jake did an excellent job taking me through the entire process. He was very thorough at explaining all the details of my mortgage re-fi. The whole process took a lot less time than I thought it was and I got a terrific rate. The entire Garden State team that assisted in the process was great, as well. I would definitely recommend using Jake and his team again!

After being frustrated and cancelling with another lender that dragged their feet for over two months... (who I won't name.. but here's a hint: it certainly wasn't Quick-ish and this isn't Rocket science).. I was lucky enough to connect with Jacob and GHSL who were able to offer an excellent rate, and close in only 2-1/2 weeks from my application.
