Lost my bottom dentures, went to Gentle Dental. Best experience at a dentist I've ever had!! The staff is exceptional. They let me make 3 payments so that was wonderful. 3 appointments later dentures will be ready in time for Thanksgiving dinner!! Great place!!
Great dentist office. People are nice and responsible, especially the hygienist. She go through cleaning the whole mouth of my teeth in 5 mins. And then she worked really hard and got a big piece of tartar from my back tooth (which didn't clean out during the deep cleaning by my previous dentist). I would highly recommend this office, except the person who takes x-ray is a very nice person, but not skillful......
I can't speak to all of the past bad reviews, as I just started going here. I followed Dr. G. from his previous practice. The receptionist was very nice, the assistant was professional, and Dr. G. was great as usual. I was in and out of there in 45 minutes. As for the office itself, it was really clean, and it looks like they have all of the latest equipment. I'm definitely going back.
Gentle dental is a very nice establishment and I got a very nice cleaning there as a first timer everyone is very welcoming and overall had a great experience and will be going there again for future appointments
I loved my visit today with my hygienist Lisa she was amazing did a very good job cleaning my teeth .She's awesome and I love how she takes her time and gave me good tips to maintain my hygiene :) Thank you Lisa
It's been six years since my last review of Gentle Dental Irvine, and I'm going to change my rating. I'm still coming here, and I have to say that the issues I had before with them pushing expensive services aren't really a thing any more. My appointments are generally quick and hassle free, although part of that I usually schedule my appointments for right when their door opens. I am sorry for my previous review. I was very afraid. I have since given them another try and they have been WONDERFUL! They have done an outstanding job! The Dental Hygienist Loc Huynh did such an excellent deep cleaning for me that it saved me from having to have more costly work done by a Periodontist. My gums got better!!! Thank you Loc!!! I have also since gone back for cleaning every three months and they did not charge me an arm and a leg. They are trustworthy and are really trying to help and heal. I hope th... read more

Dawn B., Thank you for your feedback and sorry we didn't do a better job in explaining the difference between a prophy (regular cleaning) and scaling and root planning (SRP or sometimes called "deep cleaning"). SRP is needed when there is plaque or bacteria deep beneath the gums. Left untreated, this bacteria can lead to serious infection and other health issues. It would be irresponsible for the dentist to do a prophy when an SRP is needed and both the insurance company and dental licensing board could take action. Again, s... read more
I just visited Gentle Dental for the first time because I was looking for Dental Care in Irvine. I must say that I'm very pleased with the experience because they Checked me in right away, the Dentist did x-rays to show me my cavities and they even allowed me to have an operation the same day to take care of the cavities. It was like going to the doctor getting a check up, suddenly realizing you have a sickness and getting your sickness cured the same day you find out about it. Talk about a smooth operation. Dr. Jeffrey Nguyen was very kind, gentle, and friendly! He took care of my wisdom tooth extraction very professionally. They made sure that the plan was what I desired and they did not "force" any plans to me. It surprised me that the procedure only took 15 minutes to get it done and it didn't hurt at all. It's been 2 days since the surgery and my cheek doesn't swell.
