I normally only review restaurants, but Gentle Dental Irvine's team has done an outstanding job so far. Front office staff - these girls are always incredibly friendly and professional, both on the phone and in person. They make the whole checking-in and checking-out process very smooth and easy. I recently had to switch from a PPO insurance to a DHMO. I didn't realize how different things were going to be. Just had my 2nd visit at Gentle Dental Irvine, and I can honestly say that I felt a lot calmer than any other dentist I've been to because Dr. Z, Josie, and Maria expertly handled prep for two crowns and they were VERY sympathetic the entire 3 hours, trying their utmost to make sure I was pain free. I am VERY IMPRESSED AND PLEASED. While I do look and feel lick a chipmunk, I know I'm in good hands and look forward to getting my permanent crowns in a few weeks' time. I've been going to gentle dental for about 2 years. I walk in or call and they know my name. They always work with me and my finances. I enjoy coming in to see them. It's like coming in to catch up with old friends. And when I'm miss appts I always feel bad. I recommend coming here and joining the family

I called to make an appointment for toothache , they took me right away. Every one Was nice , helpful, and very professional, especially Dr. Hashemi Took her time to explain my options.I highly recommend gentle Dental and Dr. Hashemi.
HI, I have been going to Gentle Dental for about 6 years now. They staff is always friendly and helpful. When I first went in they told me I had gum disease and needed a deep cleaning. It was pricy but I had it done and when I went back 3 months later my gums were in much better condition. Since then I have had 1 root canal and 2 crowns with no problem. Some people have complained that they had fillings done and then they fell out but this sometimes happens if they are replacing silver fillings and the cavity is large. T... read more

I switched to this office a few years ago. They have been the best dental experience I've had. They saw me go through my pregnancy stages and continue to ask me how my baby is doing. I always get to have a few chuckles when I go. A caring staff. Thank you Dr. Olsen, Loc, Kerry, María and Maggie.
I see there are lots of bad of reviews, but I know Dr. Z will soon turn this place around. =) He recently relocated from the Gentle Dental office in Orange to Irvine, where I chose to follow him. Dr. Z is very attentive, has great bed side manner, and most of all....is great at his job! Many people are scared to go to the dentist, but Dr. Z will joke around and put you at ease, to make the appointment enjoyable and comfortable! I highly recommend him as a dentist.
Been coming here for over a year now. I've been to their Orange location, but followed Dr. Z to this Irvine office. He does a great job everytime and the staff is wonderful. Came here on Valentines day for a clean-up and the staff were giving all the patients flowers, so sweet. They're professional, have plenty of dental staff to assist. Another plus which I love about them is they're up-to-date with technology, I receive text messages/reminders through my phone regarding dental visit due dates and appt's. I am very pleased with all of the work I have had done here. Everyone went out of their way to make me feel comfortable, well informed and happy. I certainly DID need the work they suggested and am very happy with the results. I am terrified of the dentist and told them....they responded accordingly.....all of them. As for the reviews swaying they wanted to do extra work; those people need to look at their mouths. Remember now what they look like.
