My wife is happy with the dental work performed at this office. However, the book keeping and front office is sadly lacking in organization. Having been in the office several times, I get the distinct impression that the staff is rather harried and not interested in solving patient problems. We have had nothing but problems since we foolishly signed up for a Springstone account. After we paid off the account, suddenly another $500 is added to the bill. Nothing but bad to say about this office. As new patients, my husband & I were not impressed. One day before my husband's 1st appt. they called to cancel his appt., leaving a message that there wouldn't be dentist available that afternoon, but he could call and see if they had any openings for that morning. When I went in for my 1st appt. I was greeted with "our hygienist called out sick, so today you will see the dentist and you'll have to come back another day to get your cleaning." Just when you start to develop a rapport with a dentist, suddenly they are gone. I have seen at least 5 different dentists in 4 years.
The dental work performed was okay, but they could not figure out the billing here. Long after the work was done we were receiving new bills in the mail and our insurance was being billed for additional charges. The quoted price was not the price billed. We will not be back.
Today Dr Bennett numbed the wrong side of my mouth. His explanation, "I thought you were a different patient, at least I didn't fill the wrong cavity. Here's a five dollar starbucks gift card." Well Dr Bennett, thats not good enough for me. I don't want your Starbucks gift card and I'm NOT going back to Gentle Dental. I suggest paying attention to what you're doing.
I would HIGHLY recommend you do not use this dentist. I have never had so many problems with dental work. I have had to go back at least once on everything I have had done in there. I feel more like cattle that as if he actually cares about me as a patient. My bite is off right now which is causing me jaw pain but I refuse to go back there any more. When it is time for my next cleaning I will be going to a different doctor recommended to me and I am going to have them fix the work done by this terrible dentist. I had my firs... read more
The other reviewer may have had a great experience with Dr. Alberta Quaidoo, but that was only because she cared about retaining him as a patient. She saw me a total of two times. She was leaving Gentle Dental. She just wanted to hurry up, get paid, and leave, so she rushed through everything, misdiagnosed me, and slapped an ill fitting crown into my mouth.
