My older non-native English speaker father in law was charged over $1,600 for a procedure that was NOT done. Patient requested a refund that was apparently issued but it has been 5 months and still have not received the refund. Multiple visits to the office to request funds. I (a white female) have had to step in to get management to start to give a more accurate timeline and explanation of why the money has not been refunded. This business does NOT care about it's clients,in my opinion. They were asked to check with my insurance before work was done. They lied, saying call was made. Insurance says there were no calls in the call log showing that. They did work that EXCEEDED annual allowance, unknown to me. I was left with a $1000 plus bill, as a senior this will be a lengthy process to pay off. Worst Dental experience I have experienced. I worked with the ortho team for four years. My braces were supposed to be on for two years. They left excessive gaping in the top front teeth, making the gaps even wider than what they were when we started the office has taken accountability and has blamed me for why my teeth looked the way that they do. In Nov 2024, I made an dental appointment for 2:30 pm, May 6, 2025. Several days prior to the 6th, I received a text changing my time to 1:30 pm. No verification required, but to call if I could not make it. I arrived at 1:15 on the 6th and checked in with the receptionist who had an attitude. She informed me I had to wait till 2:30 pm . If I could give 0 stars I would. NEVER EVER go here. I scheduled my appointment TWO WEEKS in advance at 2 pm. They tell me the day of the appointment that they need to reschedule. I work full time and had to take leave to make it to this appointment so I could not reschedule. They set me up at another location only to be told five minutes later (they kept calling me after I specifically asked to text since I was at work) that I cant get the time I wanted. Whatever you do, dont make the same mistake as I did and go to these crooks for the last several years. They not only lie, leave you on hold for twenty minutes at a time, But they also overcharge Significantly. I had a root canal and a crown done a year and a half ago in 2023, For which they charge me $2000 for (I got quoted for 500 somewhere else afterwards - straight CROOKS). I have very similar complaints against Gentle Dental, except the office is called '*********' in ******, **. SAVE YOURSELF A LOT OF AGGRAVATION. Just don't go to any of their locations, which, unfortunately there are many. Same issues as others: 1. Misdiagnosis. Gentle Dental said my senior spouse had SIX cavities, plus gum disease.
