All I have too say is bad comments about this establishment the worse I ever experience they ask you for money at front just too rip you off even with insurance and you end with bills too pay and they never finish they job I will never recommend it again, one of my coworkers went just too experience the same the lady from desk name Maria which she's not longer work there I can imagine why was very inexperience, please avoid bad experience go somewhere else.

So sorry I have to write a bad review (I only post positive experiences but this time I feel I have to). The doctor is a nice lady but the office manager and the employees in the financial department are really horrible people. I keep receiving bills for services already paid for and after many phone calls and one trip to the office to have the problem solved now we received two collections letters. If I could give NEGATIVE stars, I would. Gentle Dental advertises their offices as full service, however, they only have ortho and oral surgery there TWO days of an entire month. So, if you're suffering in pain, they'll "refer you" to oral surgery even though their oral surgeons aren't there for weeks. They'll give you antibiotics (no infection present) and Motrin, even though my son has taken enough Motrin to shut down his kidneys over the past week. In a nutshell, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. If you have any dental anxiety this is not the place for you. They over Stack their schedules so you will be waiting in between procedures for them to finish up with you. They wasted 1 full out of my time while I waited for them to finish up other patients and then tried to reschedule my cleaning for another day because they ran out of time. They are very nice hence the 2 stars, but they lack confidence and don't give you a clear answers. I was seen mulitple times in Nov. I originally went in for swollen painful gum... I was talked into work I didnt go in for, had to pay almost 1000 out- of - pocket in addition to my dental insurance and was very frustrated. I dont like the dentist chair. The assistant cut my cheek and it got badly infected!! Now the crown came off last night, my mouth is sensitive and I cannot get thru to the office. Wth. Closed on Tuesday. Poorly ran

I moved from LA to Vista around 2 years ago and didn't want to switch dentist but I decided it was time. I came to Gentle Dental with my husband around May/June of 2018, all we needed/wanted was a cleaning. That's it!! As soon as I sat down a woman came to talk to me about ALL the things needed to be done on my teeth and how much it'd be. She then recommended braces and the person who cleaned my teeth whispered to her "she already had braces" and the woman moved on to the rest of the prices. I decided to let it slide. Absolute worse front desk staff ever. I've been getting notices of unpaid bills that i have receipts for. They promise to call you back, but never do. Very unprofessional. Go elsewhere.

They have poor scheduling coordination and a faulty scheduling confirmation system. I didn't make a new appointment due to lack of consideration of my time. I can't comment on the dental service.

Unfortunately my husband had a bad experience. He got a filling and a crown. Over $600 later, his filling tooth still hurts and they want to do a cleaning that isn't covered under our insurance. This is after hours and hours that he waited for his results and care. Apparently, there was computer issues. Needless to say, he will not be returning.
