Made a 45-50 min. drive just to eat at Charley's. Expecting a wait on a Friday night, we phoned in a reservation and had a table waiting when we arrived. Food was excellent, the best tenderloin I've ever had. Staff is always friendly, waitresses are excellent. Our only drawback was being at a table next to kitchen. This place accommodated a party of 16 for my Mom's birthday. They were fast, friendly and on top of everything. We had great food (prime rib & tenderloins) and really enjoyed ourselves. Think this will be our new favorite place.
I made reservations ahead of time for a birthday party of 8 friends. The round table was nice, but noisy between the bar & the kitchen making conversation difficult. At first the waitress seemed irritated that I requested coasters, but she only brought made 2, instead of enough for others at the table. Then she changed and did a good job. It was very cold in the restaurant. Fan was blowing on us. The baked potato was cold and that wasn’t the first time we got a cold potato.
Made my reservation on opentable thinking it was a nice restaurant, upon entering it smelled old and I felt from the moment we entered, another day, another customer whoop dee doo. No happy you’re here, just “what can I get you?” Two of the four of us didn’t eat half their meals. For the review stars, not sure this restaurant deserves 4 stars overall. Maybe you need to be known as a local in order for them to care.
Cold food. Pasta frozen. Meat not cooked to satisfaction and cold
Waited for over an hour and still no food. Finally just paid and left. Will never go back again. Would not recommend at all.
