Anner was so kind. The office staff did not respond well when a caretaker stole my jewelry. They questioned Maricela after I told them about the theft. They still used her as a caretaker even after she stole from me.

Time scheduling issues. Multiple caregivers¦one who did nothing. Incorrect invoicing. Our private caregivers are so much better for less money. Tried this as a œbackup while one of ours was on vacation.

Griswold was good about "filling shifts" in the same way a temp agency can fill shifts but there was no regard for having a consistent caregiver. I had 5 different caregivers the first week. Every week after that was a revolving door of new faces, and each new person had to be trained on how I wanted things done. It was exhausting! To make matters worse, almost none of the caregivers knew how to handle dementia. They can do ADLs just fine, but dementia care is about so much more than diaper changes. The companion was not a good match with my husband. They watched TV for the most of the day. My husband felt like she was a babysitter. She was a very nice lady. Just not a good fit for my husband.

Your managing staff was awesome in setting me up with a caregiver and equipment at the hotel when I brought my husband to receive a medal at NASA. The caregiver not so much. While we were in Houston, she was generally ok when she was actually caring for my husband. However, she often seemed more interested in her cell phone than looking after my husband. Caregivers Margaret and Betty are excellent. My husband has bonded with them and feels comfortable. The caregivers are sensitive to his needs and serve meals and snacks at his request. They are knowledgeable and experienced in dealing with his disabilities
