Guidance is not for help Muslim people. They are here for just profit. I try to get only $170000 loan for buy home. I have w2 .income is 100000k still they declined my application. I live in nyc. Try with nyc agent but they are not helpful. I know some friends they also tried to get home loan but guidance declined them. I'm not recommending guidance. They just look there profits. So please do try to get home loan from guidance. Don't waste your time. I'm very disappointed with guidance.

They are the worst. They will charge you top dollars (interest rate, house assessment, inspection, Bank lawyer) on the name of halal. They don't bargain for you and I to get better deal. The customer service is third world country. They only get you someone who speaks your language but they aren't train to handle the customer as American. they have no understanding of customer value. Being a manager and who gives and knows customer service was definitely under served. I was to close on May 11th, 2022 and My rep was very unprofessional and tried to blame everyone but himself. He waited 2 days to my closing on a home and asked me for a $52,000 deposit. Of course, I was not able to raise such amount at a last minute. As a result, I lost getting the home after all no refundable expenses of inspections and, appraisals ($1000). Bashir Assalamu Alykum, Few months back I put an application with guidance and got approved. However, I later realized that their application process was completely wrong, and their information was misleading. The account executive I worked with was horrible and unprofessional. They transferred my account to another one and the other was even worst. they have poor customer service, unslamic financing, and all they do is against Islamic law when buying houses. I am very disappointed in the way Guidance is running their business now, while I have been with them for many years. They didn't appreciate this and still played me off when I was refinancing my home, not to forget that my agent was taking his time and I had to chase him a lot to get the response for every step. Also, they made a fraud in my case by giving me a higher rate while I had more than 20% equity in the house and credit score above 800.
