I chose this hotel because of the good reviews and was not disappointed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel was tidy and clean. Breakfast was free and always well supplied. The staff serving were very friendly, Esther and other staff working very hard to keep items stocked. Free wifi was helpful. Rooms were clean, all toiletries stocked, and although it was not fancy , it was all we needed for a clean safe place to sleep and relax after long days of being out and about in the city. Small basic room, recurrent plumbing issues (dealt with promptly), noisy aircon, basic breakfast, area underwhelming. Staff friendly and efficient, housekeeping every other day, convenient for subway and Penn Station.

Very good return on investment. The public space could use some wor, but otherwise - the hotel met or exceeded what one could expect from a stay.
I don’t like my check in with this lady showing me the rude attitude. It looks like she paid me the stay.
I didn't like that you have to ask the front desk to have maid service clean the room. Other hotels I have been at automatically do it. There is no excuse for the rooms to be cleaned automatically.
