This place sucks!! We booked two different houses in July and they canceled both times.. Do not recommend now we can’t go on the fourth of July!!!!!!!!!!!

Mark, you are correct. There has also been a huge problem with getting supplies like lumber, appliances and windows ect. Unfortunately the culmination of Covid and Sally have made things difficult. We do not like cancelling anyone and try our best to find another property or refund the guests.
After a terrible experience with another rental company I called Maryellen at Harris and she made ALL my dreams come true with one of their rentals

you shouldn't have to prepay everything up front because your trip might get canceled do a do a hurricane and you won't recoup all of your money

Andrew, unfortunately, the hurricane was out of our control and we are not able to stop the storms from coming to our area. We have processed refunds and sent guests who purchased travel insurance information regarding how to file a claim. This was an unfortunate event for our area and we are working to repair all of our rental properties as well as our personal properties to get our area ready for travelers. We are sorry your vacation was inconvenienced by the hurricane. There was nothing we could do to prevent this.
We book a rental on a Sunday, found out the weather was not going to be very good for the upcoming weekend and cancelled on Monday. The company took my whole $900.00 and would not refund any money at all. I can understand a $100 or $200 for cancelling, but my whole amount. Tony, our cancellation policy is clearly stated on our website and says that no cancellations or refunds will be given 24 hours after booking. You contacted us to cancel 48 hours after booking after agreeing to our terms and conditions. We can not cancel reservations due to bad weather. The house was still available for you to use. After three attempts to reschedule my vacay, I hung up the phone flabbergasted. If you are in Divided by 4 house now, please contact me. The office is so swamped and I left something in that house. It’s all of my kiddos DVDs. They took it out of my bag without my knowledge and hid it in a drawer. Thank you thank you thank you. *****edited******it is now weeks after my departure and my kids DVDs are officially gone. REVIEW MORE TOWARDS SPECTRUM..BUT Harris involved as well. This was our 2nd time staying at the Beach Club. 1st time was fantastic...this time was a nightmare. Our arrival was 8/18/19. From the beginning...I booked this over 4 months ago through ourgulfreservations. We planned a shark fishing trip in Perdido for Saturday knowing we couldn't check in until Sunday. Who is responsible for cleaning these properties? Harris properties management? Sheets stained with blood! The blanket for the fold out bed couch wasn’t even washed with blood? Dirt ? All over it ! Sheet was washed smelled like bleach but stained blood!!!! Gross

We are staying at a Harris Property in Fort Morgan for the weekend. I called to discuss the carport that was advertised in the property description but is blocked by a golf cart that is "for owner use only". I would recommend not advertising the carport or the owner(s) taking the cart with them. I was unfortunate enough to speak with Brittany and didn't get much of an answer.
