I was trying to get my camper moved from GA to TN. The first haulers called at 745am to let me know they were picking it up. At 11am they texted to say they had a flat on their trailer. Okay, no big deal things happen. At 1pm they texted to say their wench broke and they had to get that fixed so they couldn't stay with my camper. Worse transportation company I've ever dealt with. After trying to get a load out after day 4 they wouldn't even talk to me. They charged $4,000 to my credit card and never performed any services for my company.They actually put me on hold and after 52minutes on the phone I hung up. After that they wouldn't even answer phone. Again day 5 arrived and they lied Bout showing up for pickup. Do not use this company! Completed a job for them on November 8th 2022 and still have not received any payment from them. Have been dealing with Sean and now he will not answer his phone
I hired this company to move my RV from NJ to Florida I paid this company $750.00 dollars upfront and $2000.00 was due upon delivery. There were more than a few issues with the pickup and delivery ( 3 days late), adding additional cost to me over $500.00, possible tampering with my RV, and a call demanding additional moneys over the agreed upon amount once it was delivered. As others have noted, communication with this company is terrible. Based on some online information, I thought they would be a good company. I called two weeks before my departure. I was on hold for a very long time. That should have been my first clue. Finally got someone who gave me an estimate, and it sounded reasonable, the company sounded reputable, so I decided I would use them. The rep was suppose to follow up with an email. I tried to use this company in November 2021 to move a 5th wheel for me. On 2 different occassions I was left stranded and never received a driver to move the trailer. I was left stranded. Company charged $145 up front and as of this writing on 3/31/2022 still no refund. I have contacted company numerous times and they said they would issue a refund but still have never done so. I would recommend using a different hauling company.
Craig Jones specifically is who should be referenced for this review. Literally the worst transport company I've ever dealt with. DO NOT trust these people to get days, times or even what you want correct. They have no sense of communicating with their customers, so when pick up day comes and they don't answer a single phone call, it's safe to assume this company just wanted out money and not to actually help. VERY bad experience for me and vehicle holder! contracted with HaulAway a month & a half prior to pick up date, they said all would go smoothly. A week before pick up date Ralph/controller told us that he was working with 3 to 5 truckers, two days before pick up Ralph stopped contacting us, the day of pick up we were speaking to on a receptionist! It's unbelievable how rude these people are!! I called in to give a quote for a load they posted on a dispatch page for a boat and when I gave my rate to the man that picked up the phone, he laughed hysterically and then hung up the phone. I didn't pay attention to that since I know there are plenty of rude people out there that don't know how to work with the public and treat people as human beings but instead are jerks...
