Unique variety of small plates and entrees.
We have dined before and enjoyed a good meal in relatively quite surroundings. THAT ALL HAS CHANGED. Food still OK, but you had better want a VERY ENERGETIC scene to enjoy this spot. Even at 8PM the place was "rocking" with crowded bar are (in the dining area) and party goers inside and on the patio. Enjoy if that is your thing, we rather enjoy being able to carry on a conversation as well as have good food and service. So, GOOD BYE from a former fan.
I brought a client here for dinner. It was a lovely evening. The waiter was great at suggesting "favororites", they all turned out to be amazing. We sat inside which was cozy. The outdoor area for dining looked spacious and fun.
This was the first time we had been to Haven although we had heard many wonderful comments about it. We were absolutely delighted. Executive chef Stephen Herman is superb. All four of us had fish. My trout was unbelieveably delicious. The sides were very good as well. We had the brownie with ice cream for dessert. That doesn't do justice to describing this treat. The food as well as service were great as always, and they did a great job helping us celebrate my wife's birthday.
We were there for an early Sun. brunch, It was not crowded and modt customers were outside. We chose inside and enjoyed it very much.
Haven was a very good Brunch spot. Don't expect an extensive menu but everything was very good and fresh. Bloody Mary could have been spicier but its better to err on less spice. The Big Biscuit was very filling and the omelet was very tasty.
Our waiter was outstanding. He was knowledgeable, friendly, pleasant, but didn't "hover".
As always a good dinner. One would never know the economy is suffering! Every table was filled, on a Tuesday night, and the noise level was incredible. Definitely not the place to go for table conversation. We usually go earlier and will return to that habit when we have guests joining us. The crowd was energetic!
