Get directionsThey can improve in the dining room. They don't have enough help there. Everyone there is so nice. It looks more like a hotel than an assisted living facility. They offer activities such as; Bingo, puzzles, board games, and virtual church services.

Thanks so much Lauren! We appreciate you taking the time to leave this review.
Heartis Mid Cities has work our beautifully for me, I am doing very well here and I am happy. It is a smaller community then what I was in previously which I like because it has a really upbeat atmosphere to it. The staff members are just so wonderful and friendly here. I really enjoy playing bridge twice a week. The food here is really really good which is a big plus. There are plenty of other activities for everyone as well. I would recommend this community to other families.
It was extremely clean, and a newer facility. They offered three meals per day. The staff was friendly.
My mother loves living at Heartis Mid-Cities and seems to be having the time of her life. She stays busy playing cards and games, going to her arts & crafts classes and enjoying sharing meals in the dining room with all her new friends.
The community itself is beautiful, as well as the apartment our loved one has. It is so spacious, beautiful, and has a kitchenette. When it comes to the activities it is pretty quiet. The food really needs improvement, the menu that we were shown on the tour is far from reality. They do offer snacks during the days but it is very limited. When you go into the dining room they have the same menu over and over again so it is very repetitive, and since the dining service can be slow the food is served cold. They do have a salt ... read more
This community was okay. My mom likes to walk and be outside a lot so the location is important when it comes to the community. The community also did not have the right feeling that I was looking for. It kind of felt like a nursing home. They gave us lots of information on the tours , it was a great tour but it was just not the right place for my loved one.
I was able to do an in person tour after our virtual tour and the facility was extremely nice, it is a newer place. The staff were all friendly as well, but it was just way too expensive for us.
Depending on what level of care you need there is a issue with staffing. The good people that they do have are starting to leave because of the lack of help and no increase of pay. They play bridge which my loved one really likes. I do feel like they need someone to push the residents to get out of there apartments more. Other than these things this is a really good facility.
It's clean facility, and the people are friendly. But I'm not real happy with them right now. Be aware that if your family member can't do things for themselves, their call light is not going to get answered. The have quite a bit of staff turnover. I'm having to fight tooth and nail to get anything done. Her call button is not being answered. It's very frustrating. She's depressed. Things are not happening the way they're supposed to. We're paying out the nose, yet I'm having to do the things they're supposed to be doing - b... read more
