It is functional but slightly overpriced for the product. Support from tech and customer service is lacking. It spares us from having to interact with one another by enabling us to securely collect payments from our clients over the phone. PROS It has always been reliable and easy to use. A decent company that wants to do better, but may not be there yet. Overall, we are generally happy with Heartland's POS side of the company (we would not recommend the HR side, but that is another story). The customer service typically responds quickly. Sometimes I wish they would come out a little more quickly, especially since it seems that their equipment only ever breaks during a busy dinner rush.
