Had to pay 20% restocking fees on returning I had no idea I had to pay 20% restocking fee during retuning while I bought the item. The ink ran out very soon.
Don't delay in checking this product out immediately. This printer does not copy. It produces illegible prints. I cannot return it. It has defective parts inside. Brother says must use Brother components. It came with Brand-x components. Get another brand1
Printed fine then crapped out days after the warranty Power stopped working almost exactly to the day that the warranty expired. Tried all the reset/troubleshooting techniques on the site to no avail. Printed fine up until then but definitely won’t be buying another Brother.
Sleep warnings are correct. Sleep warnings are correct. Turning on and off and unplugging etc. to wake up shouldn't be needed just when you want to print something. Nice printer when/if it works. Small ancient window and button functions that I haven't seen for 20 yrs on a printer. Needs an LCD window with more than one line, backlighting, or a modern interface for set up and maintenance. Great - but vertical line in printouts ruins everything Great, except that a vertical line the length of the page has started to appear in every printout. Only a month old. I would not buy it again.
Don't buy, it wont last long I have it for 14 months and it just won't turn on. I seldomly used it. It is such a huge waste of money and I have to goto fedex to print my stuff again to save the urgency...
Doesn't work This is a piece of junk!! It won't come out of sleep mode and won't print. Ran setup 3 times, then and only then does it print IF you are fast enough to send it something to print then it goes into deep sleep mode never to print again. DON'T buy it.
You don't get to decide when I need toner I’ve had this printer for about a month and it works fine. Print quality is excellent. After printing 500 pages, I started getting a message the the toner was low, but print quality was still excellent. Then today in the middle of a print job it just stopped and said I have to replace the toner cart. I found some procedures online to bypass this error and continue printing but they didn’t work. Broke within 2 months In the second month of use, printer stopped communicating with the computer. Tried a new cord-nothing. Seller said no exchange or refund. I’m just out of my money and no printer.
