I absolutely love this printer I absolutely love this printer! Fast, and not one single problem with any print job. It holds a bunch of paper that will last quite awhile along with the toner cartridge. Wish it would print color, but this is great for printing documents, coloring pages for kids, and even labels. Another excellent Brother printer!
My Original Brother Laser Printer Is Still Pushing Paper After Eight Years Of Hard Use. Will This One Do The Same? The basic Brother wi-fi ready small office laser printer. This is the most entry level of the 'small office' laser machines from Brother that has wi-fi. The L5100DW does not have wi-fi. We have an additional individual laser printer that works great for one PC as well. The setup was super easy on Windows 10. There is an installation CD which was very user friendly. Good Laser Printer for a Small Office This is the one of the several Brother printers that we have in our office. Previously I have used HP, Lexmark, Dell, Ricoh and Canon printers. In my experience, Brother are the most reliable and trouble free printers. After about 4 - 5 years, they start giving you error messages like replace parts, replace drum etc. That is usually the time to replace the printer. Love the Brothers.. I never met a Brother printer I did not like... This printer set up easy and I love the app for my android phone.. you need to take your time and understand the difference between the Brother printers.. The model codes can be confusing at first but they are really easy to understand once you catch on..
Failed, no warranty due to unauthorized dealer Purchased this in December 2021, failed after 2 months of use. Roller damaged. Brother was ready to replace it until they found it was purchased from an unauthorized dealer. No warranty. Not happy.
Piece of junk! This thing is a complete piece of junk! Doesn't stay connected to the internet and goes into sleep mode very quickly and there's no way to disable sleep mode just to delay it.
Didn’t last long and no help from Brother Mine lasted just over 2 years (2yrs and 2 months after installing) in a very mild use environment- we go through about 1k sheets in about a year…probably more than a year. Started to not connect to network then just wouldn’t stay on. Unplugging starts it up but it almost immediately shuts down. Will go back to HP after this experience.
Wireless printing does not work!!! I am very disappointed that the wireless printed feature does not work. The printer works fine on a wired network.
