    Deep Sleep a pain but HERE IS HOW TO FIX I've had this printer for a couple of years and mostly I really like it EXCEPT it would periodically go into deep sleep and then we couldn't wake it up. This would totally have been a dealbreaker if I hadn't missed the return window for various reasons too boring to list, and I have been annoyed with it ever since.     Printer does not print letter/legal size docs I have tried for months to print mixed paper size documents with not success. I have contacted brother repeatedly and I just spent 1 hour just today. We tried everything and then I was told that there was nothing else that they could do and referred me to contact adobe. I plan to sell this machine and buy another printer from a different brand.

    Leaks ink We have tried 4 brothers ink toners in this printer and without fail every page that prints is filled with ink. Contacted brothers who sent yet toner, and it continues to happen. Never going to get another for the office again.

    Buy this if you want toner ALL OVER THE PAGE This is my fourth, and last Brother printer. Within a few months of purchase, it started fouling up all the pages with toner. I have never used third-party consumables of any kind with this printer. It's going in the landfill. I attached a test print page, generated a few moments ago by this POS.

    Piece of Junk Loved my first Brother. Bought 2 of these for the office. After a few months, they both alarm out with "low toner" message. Put in new toner and still can't reset. I assume there's a bad sensor in the loop somewhere. Save your money and buy a more reliable machine.

    Customer serivice is horrible papers keep jamming after 40 days of use....called customer service and they want me to feed papers to the machine one by one!!!! They just can't be serious.

    Keeps tripping the power Useless. It keeps tripping the power circuit whenever it prints, and sometimes even when starting up. Tried everything like connecting it to a separate power socket, updating firmware .. When there are lots of competitor's printers without these issues.. I am not going to keep working on this.. had to return it.. sorry.

    No go out of the box Just took it out of the box. Warning light that there is a paper jam. Looked, no paper jam. No biggie, just contact Brother and initiate a chat. Wait, chat only available to Canadians. No way someone in American can chat with support. So, throw it back in the box and leave it at the curb.

    WORTHLESS If it is plugged in its fine. WIRELESS it can't connect to any thing! All of the "I'm a notary" reviews "talked me into" getting it because "I'm a notary" as well. I have to delete it and download it every single time I have to print from any of my laptops unless I want to plug it up via usb which is not worth all the work! Now, I am purchasing the 2nd printer this year.
