Refinancing seems to have gotten more difficult since we last applied many years ago; the length of time (2+ months) was interminable at times. I recently completed a VA approved refinance with Home Plus Mortgage and was very pleased with the service. Chris Ross contacted me over a year ago, as well as several other mortgage brokers when I was looking into a refi. After having been declined by a couple of the big banks due to my property type (duplex), I gave Lending Tree a whirl. From the minute I spoke with Chris, I was put at ease. I could tell he was very knowledgeable about the HARP loans, and assured me the fact the property was a duplex would not be a problem.
