We love the historic nature of the property and that it has maintained it's old world charm. Everyone who works there seems to share the same opinion. Very well maintained landmark.

Iconic hotel on gorgeous beach. This hotel has been a bucket list item for me and I was concerned with the negative reviews regarding construction and other issues but ultimately decided to see for myself. We stayed in the newly renovated cabana rooms overlooking to pool and partial ocean views. Upon arrival, trying to find our room was frustrating due to several areas roped off for construction, and the map the guy at the front desk gave us went right to a dead end. Hotel was under construction so we were unable to enjoy the total experience. Location is perfect.

We liked that it was beach front and was big and didnt feel crowded. Our room was another story. it looked weathered and more than ready for a face lift. the wallcovering was splitting at the seam in the restroom, the shutters didn't hold there positions and the carpet looked like it had been walked on for miles.
