Unfortunately, it was not clear on the Hotel Website that they are undergoing a major renovation that effects the experience. Jack hammers and work starting by 8a. Only the historic section is open. There is only one way in and out of the hotel to parking, beach and boardwalk restaurants. A very small corridor especially during the pandemic. Also only 1 working elevator, that is small and also in the same corridor for all traffic in and out of hotel. So expect delays. It was surprising that they charged the $35/day resort fe... read more
The fire pit room was the best! We enjoyed nightly fires.
The hotel was gorgeous but everything on the resort was way overpriced and it was hard to sleep because so much sound came in thru the doors

Great location, historic charm.. beautiful beach Can’t beat the location and onsite amenities. Rooms vary. Some are less expensive, clean but a little dated. Others are amazing but more expensive, which makes sense. Overall a great and beautiful resort with historic charm.
