Wasn’t told we could not smoke on the balcony outside of our room. We found out when we checked out and incurred a $200 fine. So disappointed we weren’t told prior. The Hotel and staff were wonderful.

A disappointing trip to a historic property When we arrived we were told we would be given a complimentary upgrade from the Victorian building to the Ocean Towers. The upgrade being that the new room would have a king bed and a small balcony. The room we were given did have a king bed, but it was accessible. The shower had bars for people to hold onto, but they had been moved and the holes from where the old poles were were exposed, the shower curtain was too long and sopped up water making the entire floor wet and slippery... read more

Service & propertu I really enjoyed the spa services & especially the spa pool.
Wanted more vintage style out of room not just beach front hotel style a time capsule of nostalgia and a since of forgetting the modern day ,but overall great experience
