Very nice but expensive! Hotel was very busy and pool was overcrowded. Food and drink on the property are overpriced! Walk to town for meals.

Bell hop service was fairly dismal. I really appreciated the heroics to find conjoined rooms. I only wish they weren't facing the parking lot and the property's construction, which resumed bright and early on Monday morning. Nonetheless, we loved the beach and the umbrella, chez lounge, and beach day bed rentals. Most staff was very helpful. If you're there to enjoy the beach, spend most of your time there. Restaurants at the property were very good, although pricey.

Family vacation from east coast. Wanted to stay at this place because of its' history. I loved it. Stayed in the main original building in Junior Suite. Booked room with Ocean view. Pulled up and waited for valet for unrealistically long time on a Sunday afternoon. Was aware of $50 valet fee in advance, but this was not mentioned on Hotels.com listing. Our stay at the hotel del core nado Service was so so. You are paying for the history of the place because the rooms are nothing special for $500 per night. Lot to do there though and we did have a good time. It is a fun atmosphere but you need to be prepared to over pay a lot for that

The hotel grounds I like. I did not like that current parking arrangement
When arriving, the valet was amazing, the check in was smooth and staff was helpful! We got to our room expecting to see the view of the beautiful beach. When looking out the balcony, all we saw was a huge excavator. They were doing construction. I get that they are trying to better the place. But, an e mail letting us know what was going on prior to checking in would have been nice. The next morning right when the sun comes out, all we hear is loud banging from the construction.
