My electronic card wasn’t working so the hotel deactivated my keys. This came at an unfortunate time and created the most inconvenient situation for me as my plans of proposing to my girlfriend were thwarted due to being locked out of my room. This is unacceptable because I have never had this happen before and the pay issue is a non issue that could have been resolved differently.

This was a disappointing stay. We splurged on a night at the Del as a birthday treat and had some of the worst service I've ever experienced. The property itself was under construction, which wasn't clear during booking. I had to park way on the other side of the property and walk outside of the area around to the front entrance, with all of my stuff (luckily not much for one night for our fam, but had all our beach stuff too). Was not told property undergoing major renovation so it was basically 1/2 open and parking was a nightmare. Occupancy seemed low but Hilton still upcharged me $150 per night for change from partial to full ocean view.
