Get directionsIndigo at Carolina Forest is a brand new community and a really nice pretty place. The staff we have interacted with have been extremely nice and friendly. The chef [name removed] is absolutely awesome. Our loved one really enjoys playing cards every single day. The only issue we have is sometimes our loved ones do not have hot water and sometimes it is hard to reach staff when we have an issue. Also we think they could benefit from having handrails in the shower and along the hallway walls .
Our family had an in person tour and it was being built during the time, it was a pretty big place and everything is brand new but the setting where the community was - was just not as nice as another community we had toured.
My loved one just moved in to Indigo at Carolina Forest after her husband passed away. She is doing great considering the circumstances and [name removed] has been amazing to work with so far. The actual facility is not open yet, just the independent villas so we have not had much experience with the staff or anything like that. So far things are going great and this is where she wants to stay.
The people we met on our tour were nice, and everything was fine overall. The facility wasn't finished though, so we didn't spend a lot of time there, and it was kind of hard to get a feel for it. When we found out that the rooms would have just a little refrigerator instead of a full size one, my loved one lost interest.
When we looked at Indigo at Carolina Forest it was not open yet so we could not really get a good feel for what it would be like.
We toured Indigo at Carolina Forest and it was an absolutely lovely place. We met with the chef and all the staff members were great. In order for our loved one to get a balcony, it would have been a very long walk because they only offer them on rooms at the end of the hallways. Also, the balconies are shared by 2 units.
