Sloppy, sloppy workmanship. Four attempts to get job completed correctly.

Windows installation was good. contractors removed window blinds and lost parts that required buying new blinds. wife asked contractors to install blinds, contractors said they will but blinds were never installed. I went to install the blinds 2 days later only to find parts missing. Window glass clean but white trim very dirty giving the finished product the look of "1 coat of white paint over light vinal". Overall I would not recommend this company due to poor installation finish work.

At this point I have given a low rating. I am still waiting for a window to be replaced that has hand marks inside the pane. I wasn't exactly expecting unmilled framing either. Yes it was made of pine so it would be more affordable, but I was still not happy with the end result of the styling. My husband and my son were however satisfied. My husband was in Mississippi when they came back out to look and this window and order a replacement. All it needs is new paning. I even figured since they popped out easily that it would ... read more

Install America was very disorganized, not very truthful in that stories kept changing about work being done and the quality of the work. I had to have my father involved in the project to inspect due to the craftsmanship being faulty and shortcuts being taken in the work being completed. they also started work without a permit as well as started taking off the asbestos illegally prior to being reported.

I thought they would have done a better job repairing the wood before installing the windows and capping over the large gaps.

EDIT : My 1st review was before it had rained. ALL of the installed windows leaked from being incorrectly capped and sealed. It was so bad that water actually came leaking inside onto our carpet and puddled around the area. It would have been much worse had we not come home in time to dry it up and place towels along the bottom of the sill. To their credit, Install America did come back and fix the issues before it rained again (which is why they get 2 stars), but this is something that should have never happened in the 1st ... read more

The crew didn't do the greatest job in the world and argued with us when we tried to make recommendations. The window quality was pretty good overall, but we had to have an entire window replaced because the whole frame was significantly bowed. The job was estimated by the salesperson Jim Siracuse to be only one day in length, and instead took two full days. We were expecting a call about getting the bowed window replaced, and we were told we'd receive a call in mid-July. It's close to August and we still haven't heard back ... read more

It took four attempts to get all five windows installed. Work crew was good - neat, efficient & polite. Manager we dealt with was rude, didn't return calls or follow thru when asked & when we complained about the problems, his attitude was 'well, those are the breaks. I'm not about to apologize.' His superior did have a much different/better attitude.

The consultation and window presentation was great. One window was cracked on installation and another had a damaged cover on the side. Both will be replaced and were ordered that day, but we were told this would take 4-5 weeks. On the installation there was glass shattered everywhere, both inside and outside our house. Examples: throughout the house on floors, on the dining room table, in our baby's crib, all over our deck as a window was dropped from the second story. Had to have them come back to reclean. Still was unsati... read more
