This job - windows and siding, took four months to complete, and even then they did not install the ordered shutters. The workman and products are good: the job management, communication with the customer and regard for the customer are non-existent. This has been a long, frustrating experience. I would recommend staying away from these guys.
I wish I could give a higher rating. Some aspects were great others have left me still angry about 4 months later. The man who came to my house for the estimate was amazing and really sold me on using install America. The guys who came out to install the windows were very mean looking guys. They couldn't get the windows out of my ground floor apartment. So they needed to be broken out. One would like you to break the windows towards the outside. Not them. Broken glass inside. Anything that could have gone wrong did! No calls, no shows; cancelled an appt 1 1/2 hrs before scheduled time; 1st day,the crew spent most of day sitting in their truck; used wrong material & had to go to Huntsville, Al to get more; delivered wrong color gutters; was told it would take 1 day to finish job, it took 7 working days; was told all siding was insulated & same price,NOT; was told I had a transferable lifetime guarantee, I have yet to see it in writing; when they wrapped my door frame,he covered the doorbell-who do... read more
I have hired this company to install windows in my home. But, we are in the preliminary stages of doing business. I have agreed to their terms & conditions, selected the windows I want and given them a down payment. It has been 30 days since we signed a gave them a check. I'll do another review at an appropriate time in the near future.
The actual siding looks good! HOWEVER - It took them 4 months to complete the entire job. It took them 2.5 months to come out for a few hours and finally get the siding, and it took them 1.5 mos to finally get out to finish the gutters. I dont care how good a job looks when done, when you hold up my water proofing efforts for 4 months, you are TERRIBLE. I would gladly pay more to not have to go through this. phone calls were not returned and it took much longer than needed to get windows installed, although windows do look great, i wouldd not recommend this company to anyone due to the wait and frustration that went along with getting them
The windows look great but my house was left a disaster. Nails everywhere and old moldings in the yard.
the sub contractors were great they did a great job very nice men took their time made sure i was happy in every thing they did. but as far as install america , i would never use them again they don't work with the people that hire them. very slow with paper work will not answer phone calls. just poor relations. but i would use their subs anyday.
very dirty left nails everywhere kids to the doctoe cause of olds nails going in there feet the dogs feet as well
