Excellent choice to drop the monthly fees. Between the 1% trading commission and the "spread" on the price, iTrust is doing just fine. Next up - needs the ability for LIMIT orders ASAP! (Will be a HUGE timesaver for me not to have to monitor prices constantly.) Dollar cost averaging (recurring purchases would be a nice touch. Also, I'm worried, when the time comes to sell, that restricting trading to ONE order at a time will NOT be good! I have found the service to be very good so far. I only moved a small amount of my IRA over to iTrustCapital, but am in the process of moving more over. 1% fee to buy and another 1% to sell just needs to be factored in when you make a trade. Crypto moves 8 or 10 percent pretty quickly, so giving 2% (1% to buy and 1% to sell) is not too painful. Currently the tools for buying and selling are very simplistic. Nice interface, good customer service, and easy setup. I still think fees are a little high which is why I'm not giving 5-stars. They were the lowest fees I could find though.
I feel so much more financially secure with my IRA transferred into primarily precious metals with some cryptos. iTrust Capital made the process very easy and stress free.
Great concept to be able to grow your crypto assets in a tax free way. With crypto ready to explode over the next several years, this could provide a huge advantage in the long run. Lots of assets to choose from inside your account with more being added all the time. They have recently added the abiltiy to do an ACH transfer instead of a bank wire which makes it easier and cheaper to transfer money for you yearly contributions. This is a great app for setting up a digital IRA. My main concern is the communication between user and the exchange. If you have a specific question, timeline or technical issue it's almost impossible to actually talk to someone. It took over a month to make a simple cash transfer to fund my first account - simply because a wire transfer was not requested. The second funding was crypto only, again the instructions for doing this were vague and misleading but I was assured that the proper forms would be sent "soon". Still... read more
