I rarely write reviews. This experience was so disappointing that I feel obligated to speak up. We showed up for an 8:15 (originally 8:00 but we had changed it over the phone) reservation. We were seated 15 minutes later than the reservation slot. It was apparent that the restaurant had overbooked reservations. In the 15 minutes we had to wait just to be seated, what I thought was going to be a nice experience at a modern steakhouse was actually going to be a noisy, generally unpleasant experience. Everything was great except for the waiter. He didn’t get the appetizer order right and he had strange mannerisms.
Service was great. Food was good except for the wedge which was pathetic. A wedge of lettuce, one and a half tomatoes and bacon with blue cheese dressing in the side - boring for a wedge and overpriced. The roasted Brussel sprouts were excellent as were the cheese rolls.
Prime is one of my favorite places to go. The service was a little slower than normal, but otherwise wonderful as always!
Ordered a “wagu” burger…was waaay over cooked it was like a hockey puck.
It was way, way too loud. The food and service were good but it was hard to even have a conversation...
Tomahawk steak was undercooked. Ordered medium cooked and was served a medium rare. To correct it, steak was taken back and reheated, making it chewy and not worth $200+. Vey disappointed.
Food and service were excellent. I picked J Prime due to the rave reviews I read on here. I wanted the perfect location to celebrate my 25 year wedding anniversary. From the moment I walked into the restaurant, I knew this was not it. The noise level was too loud for my liking with loud music. This has been one of our favorite steakhouses for years but service was subpar, food was just ok and overall not the best we’ve had.
