About this business
easy drop-in replacement for my JVA 2440 my JVA 2440 finally failed after 15 years, bought this as a replacement. this item does not include the handle or screw-on cap, you'll need those from your old actuator. took about five minutes to install in place of the old actuator, plugged it into the control board, and it worked like a charm.
YOU GET 2444 NOT 4424 LIKE ADVERTISED Why is the numberin for unit different? Maybe the header needs to change. Have not installed yet.
Does the job at a great price I didn't know what a Packout-Assembly was and still don't, but I figured this JVA must have failed some cosmetic assembly line test which is why I could buy it here for $20 less than anywhere else -- plus, of course, the prime shipping. I think my guess was right, since it seems to be the real thing and works fine. I only gave it 4 stars because the darn things don't last very long. I've got 4 JVA's and I think I replace 1/2 of them every year.
