It leaked all the water out. I have installed many pool check valves. They all sooner or later leak. This valve would not hold water for even one day. I am very disappointed. I thought this valve at $ 80.00 would work. I hope this company calls to make it right.
Disappointed Will not recommend only 30 days after purchase water leaked and the spa water drained down and way over price for it to only last 30 days pass on this one
Leaks and doesn’t work as designed. I wanted to like it because it is the only valve I can find that has little to no restriction on the volume of water it passes. Unfortunately it doesn’t stop the water in the opposite direction which is the whole purpose. In a vertical installation it recommends 16 inches of plumbing above to help seal the valve. Didn’t matter 24 inches didn’t even work. So chlorine can slowly drain back in to my pool heater with this valve
Handy 7305 Really disappointed with these item bought may 2017 and now it's cracked around the top making it leak. Only lasted a year for the price I paid I should have gone to the local store and bought it there. Now the replacement is $30.00 not reasonable. Very disappointed customer.
One out of the Two Check valves Purchased Leaked The jandy check valve is very good for pool applications. I purchased two of these valves for re plumbing an inline chlorinator and spa that sits above pool. Last weekend when I installed my new cartridge filter and in-line chlorinator, the only leak I had was coming from the check valve. I removed the top and found that the gasket was missing. Not authentic Jandy. Knock off product. Not a true Jandy check valve. China product. Seal plate is black, not red, and metal parts do not appear to be stainless steel. Not worth taking any chances and risking damage to my system. Very disappointing and misleading product advertising.
One Star The inside seems two flimsy, does not seem durable enough and therefore not worth the expense.
poor quality and no warranty Stay away from Jandy, there is no support, no warranty.Also this valve corrode after 3 weeks and failed after a few months.Don't buy Jandy product, they require to pay someone coming to check on any of their product. for me I have the controller died, they want me to pay someone to check 4 screws before even doing anything.Not to mentioned that I waited 2 hours before getting an useless technician on the phone.I have a master in electronics and I think I know how to do initial trouble shooting.I ... read more
Really Shoddy Not sure why, but the spring on the trap door rusted out after half a season. That kept the door open and it no longer functioned as a check valve. At that point, it just became a joint. A very expensive joint.
