This product is dummy proof. This product works great and is designed for dummies like me to put it in backwards the first time. I easily remove the cover and turn the valve around.
This check valve is the best in the market This check valve is the best in the market. I use these all the time for new Pool construction and I wouldn't buy anything else.
Great product These are awesome. I use this in my basement at the sump discharge so I can see when the storm sewer backs up during heavy rains. I then know to switch to an outside discharge and save potential basement flooding.
Five Stars Great valve, closes very fast and keeps the pump that right after it primed every time.

2" male pipe OR 2.5" female fittings attach to Jandy - ether end Good enough for now, I’ll let you know more in 10 years. By way of clarification: What this Check does is stop water from flowing (back-flowing) in one direction. ALSO, the 2 inch pipe you glue to the inside of the check. If you need too, you can instead (ether end) use a 2.5" female fitting end to fit over the outside of the check in/out. Inside with 2" pipe, outside with 2.5" fitting.
