Saves my pool pump I originally bought a check valve from Lowes for $15 but I constantly had to remove it for cleaning because the valve was stuck open by debris. This valve never gets stuck open and does not allow any back flow. Now when the pool pump starts the water flows immediately. There is no 15-60 second delay for the pump to draw water from the pool to get it primed. The filter basket in front of the pump stays full of water. I highly recommend this product because it will add years to the life of your pump.
Works great So far, this valve is working exactly as it is supposed to. I like the fact that it has a clear window so you can see when the valve is open or closed. Our old valve did not have this window so we were not aware that it was stuck closed.
Great quality Very nice movement with the spring load on this valve. I'm very happy with the performance of this valve. I would recommend it to anyone considering it for their pool.

Can't beat this price. The Jandy valve is an excellent servicable unit. You just can't beat this price at a local swimming pool store.
Installation orientation limited by design I purchased these values while rebuilding my 20 year pool plumbing. After reading the instructions, I became aware that the installed orientation is limited by the direction of water flow. For example, my existing plumbing has check values on all the return values going back to the pool. Since these pipes go vertically back into the ground after the Jandy 3-way values, these check values cannot be used in this location.
