Genie My husband & I are very pleased. He changed out old and put in new in less than an hour. But he has done this because our other halogen lights have only lasted two years and they run about $250. This light is very good because it really hides imperfections of 20 yr concrete pool. We have 20,000 gal pool and it lights it up beautifully. The different colors for us women who like change are great. Pool Light Ordered, delivered, just as advertised, and couldn't be happier. Installed in 15 minutes, luckily I have an electricians background, and light is awesome. Lights up hole pool.
lights don't last! These lights do not last. I have replaced them several times. Average life is about three years. Absolutely unacceptable for the price!
dont buy it only worked one summer, and the warranty sucks.
Not even close to being worth it. i'll never buy from the seller again! I ordered this light July 2024. I did not buy an extended warranty. His pool light was very expensive, and barely the last of the year before it died. I called Amazon to see if there was a at least one year warranty, but there wasn't! So I guess I'm just out $1200. I'm writing this this review to warn any future buyers!
Hayward Pool Light Hayward light is a piece of garbage. It is overpriced not to say the least. I have replaced 2 of these lights. The first one went out after 2 years the pool was built. I was lucky because it was still under warranty so it was replaced. However, this one went out after 2 years of use. By the way, this pool light only goes on for about 2 hours per night. Charges $260 RESTOCKING FEE for DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS so they can "RESELL" IT!!! FRAUD ALERT!!! Horrible customer service. Received a defective light that didn't work straight out of the box. Tested it BEFORE installing and it wouldn't work, witnessed by 2 people. failed and filled with water first off i trusted hawyard as a pool equipment supplier, when having our pool redone in 2020, they removed the 30 year old light that still worked and replaced it with the fancy color LED one.... fast forward not even 4 years later( but they only have a 3 year warranty) the light has failed and is filling with waterunit powered on for 10 seconds and then gos very dim.... Failed within 2 years My 2 hayward pool lights filled With water within 2 years . Hayward customer service refuses to warranty as a consumer. They only warranty the lights unless they were purchased by authorized service centers. Meaning your pool installer doesn’t count. They responded in a email saying…“Thank you for contacting Hayward. I understand you are experiencing an issue with your lights For all Warranty/Service matters, we work through our network of local Hayward Authorized Service Centers(HASC).”Thanks…
