Too expensive to be cheaply built The media could not be loaded. This expensive LED is poorly shipped. It is sold with no warranty from the manufacturer. I installed it three days ago and it’s already skipping the color that this thing is designed to display. This is the second one that I’m using within a four year period. Hayward should be aware of that lemon product of there’s.
Does NOT last 50,000 hours These lights are advertised to last up to 50,000 hours. My Hayward Colorlogic pool and spa lights only lasted about 5 years, 3000-4000 hours tops. You can't just change the bulbs. You have to buy a whole new contraption. Buyer beware
Warning pool lights break I have ordered these pool lights on three different occasions, thinking that it was just a coincidence that they light would burn out. However, three different orders, and all four lights fail within six months to a year.This is the most garbage product I have ever ordered

Light leaked after 3 years and stopped working. LEDS look good but light only lasted 3 years. Look on youtube. They all leak prematurely. Wasted $750. Purchase at your own risk. Poor quality. Most positive reviews are recent light installs. Very disappointed and upset I threw my money out the door.
Lasted about two years! At the time I purchased it costs me$400! Now its $1000!! Mine lasted 2 years and stopped working. Very disappointing after spending that kind of money.
Please send the right item! The item that was sent to me, was not LED pool light, but 500 watt light! I reorder, hope I receive the correct item!
Awesome when it works, but quality is TERRIBLE!!! The media could not be loaded. I have three of these in my pool. Pool is 4 years old and I just replaced the 4th one. At $1000 a piece, this is ridiculous. Manufacturer claims they should last 50,000 hours, I don't have 500 on all of mine combined and have 4 failures. Warrantee is only a year, and they refused to honor even that (they said it was improper installation or misuse). They won't stand behind the product at all, and it WILL fail quickly. Defective item without customer service response to replace warranty item would not recommend purchasing from this company. The originally ordered light was sent with a piece of the plastic molding broken. It was returned through Amazon, refunded and a new light ordered. The second light came was installed by our electrician. After the light was installed it filled with water. We have called customer service 4 times getting the same response that we would be emailed within 48 hours. We have not received an email or call. We ... read more
