crap over price is about 25 dollars all the work to install only last 3 year not to long after warranty expires
Don't buy - will leak -- no replacement gaskets!!! I bought 2 of these 50,000 hour or so LED lights, that I turn on for maybe 50 hours a season total, they went after 7 years. They leak, then don't work. You can't get replacement parts for board, glass, rubber gaskets. There are some youtube hacks to temporarily fix them, but they WILL leak again, mine did.Hayward support is non-existent, also I made mistake so I have a large Nacelle in concrete where lights should be with pebble tech finish around it, so I'm, ..... as far a... read more
Do NOT BUY !!!! Do not buy this light ; had to replace one already second one just blew . NOT Worth the money. Hayward made me eat the first one, will not stand by the product
Illegal voltage in most countries DANGEROUS voltage for swim pools- I live in The Bahamas and built a pool. The local pool companies would not install this light saying it is not up to code and dangerous to install in water where people will swim SHOULD BE 12Volt. Hayward should know better to sell this light as a pool light
120V is dangerous to use I don't think 120v should be allowed to be sold. There is so much risk with 120v. I recommend getting 12v installation and 12v light instead. If you have 120v installation then get a converter to 12v
. Model number lpcus 11100 Not worth the price. I have 4 of these in my pool. In the last 3 years, I have changed all 4 out twice at $900.00 to $1200.00per light. The light overheats and breaks down causing the light needing to be replaced. I contacted Hayward for suggestions and they did not support their product due to it being the busy time of the year and didn't have the time.. the light is great when it works but life of the light is not worth the price. Model number lpcus 11100
Dont waste your money I had two colored LED lamps installed underwater in a new swimming pool. Both lights worked properly for only one year. By the third year one of the LED lights completely failed. I asked the pool contractor for a price to fix it – but I balked at the price. $400 for the bulb and $400 to partially drain the pool, replace the lamp and refill the pool. The LED lights were supplied by the Hayward company. Avoid them if you can. Their products are unreliable and the company doesn’t stand by their products.
Hayward Color Logic suck Paid the electrician to install the light... it works... then it doesnt.... he comes back... I pay by the hour... gets it working... goes out again. Same thing happened with my old pool at my first home. I cant believe I bought the nonsense that the Color Logic 4.0 is new and improved.
Company won't back product Garbage. Light is good while it lasts. Went through 2 of these. Says 50,000 hours. Not true. These lights are cheap plastic enclosures inside with a thin rubber gasket that fails in a couple years regardless of use. Forget calling the company. They just email you a link to their website. I called back and the woman who's accent was so hard I couldn't understand her hung up on me after a 1 hour 40 minute hold time. Now I'm stuck with no light. $1,000 for 2 years is way too much! Going with a white l... read more
