I am not sure when this unit was installed but ... I am not sure when this unit was installed but it no longer functions; took it apart and discovered moisture reached circuit card burning out some components.
Two Stars Worked for one day then all the different colors became blue onlyThis is defective
2 Defective lamps received. 1st lamp blinked green once ... 2 Defective lamps received. 1st lamp blinked green once, then went to solid blue. 2nd lamp blinked red, then went to rainbow.
Take the six hundred...and bet on BLACK at roulette. Your chances of success are far greater. They ARE guaranteed !!!!...to leak.If you're "lucky" enough for it leak in the first year...they will replace it under warranty. But the replacement will leak too...and it won't be under warranty at that point.I will say this...they are beautiful!!! BUT at 600 a pop....they just aren't worth it.

Will Leak and will die ... My pool is about 5 years old and all 3 original Hayward lights have leaked (2 in in the pool and one in the spa), shorted out and died. Hayward will not help and lights cannot be repaired ... each one costs $500.Don't buy Hayward lights!
Pretty Light, But Does Not Last, Company Won't Support Don't be fooled by this product. When I first got mine, I bought a professional installation from Leslie Pools. I paid almost $600 bucks for the light and another $119 for the installation. The light worked fine for about 2 years and then the entire green channel went out. Haywood does not back up the product and neither did Leslie's. So for over $700 I ended up with a light that doesn't work and a company that won't stand behind its product. They don't last Great looking light.But a poor design.Mine died after 5 years. The seals leak and the parts cannot be replaced. Hayward has no answer and is unsympathetic. After researching this problem on the internet it appears to be common.Beware!
