This company is notorious for not paying out claims. Although it was comforting to know I'm not alone after reading countless similar online complaints, I'm still out $2,500 because they weaseled out of paying 'Prior Damage' and 'Condition' adjustments not paid by the primary insurer. Isn't that the whole point for having a GAP policy in the first place?
My car was totaled 4 months ago. JM&A sent me a letter stating what they were paying and that it was processed and the check was mailed out. It has now been 20 days and Wells Fargo still has not got a dime from them. I call JM&A group every single day and though their staff are real friendly, they just tell me to wait longer. No claim should take this long. Scam!!! These people did not cover the gap insurance leaving us with a 500.00 bill after my husband totaled his car. Never again would I buy insurance through them.
Stay away from this GAP warranty. It's unbelievable after reading the complaints on this site, how they still give an unacceptable explanation of them getting away with not covering what they should. They WILL NOT PAY the way it is promised to you when needed. Not recommended at all whatsoever!
